Welcome to America's Distinctive Culinary Arts Program at the Nation's First Public University for Women (admitting men since 1982)
• Students have the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science degree, become a culinary specialist, and enhance their career options with a minor in the following emphasis areas: entrepreneurship/small business development; food journalism; food art (food styling and photography); and nutrition wellness.
• The MUW Culinary Arts Institute provides culinary training using classic cooking techniques in small quantity food preparation.
• The MUW Culinary Arts Institute is housed in renovated Shattuck Hall, one of the 24 campus buildings on the National Register of Historic Places.
• Residents of the following states get to pay in-state tuition for the Culinary Arts program because of the Academic Common Market: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
