The Culinary Institute of America

Since 1946 The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) has prepared students to lead the culinary profession. The CIA opens up an exciting new world of learning and prepares you for success in the foodservice and hospitality industry.

Comprehensive Programs
Whether you have a passion for creating imaginative pastries, a relentless drive to develop new food products, or the desire to manage a restaurant, the CIA has the degree program to meet your needs. Plus, our continuing education programs help culinary professionals develop new skills or enhance existing ones.

A Campus with Something for Everyone
Located in Hyde Park, NY, the CIA is convenient to both the wonders of the great outdoors and the excitement of New York City. That same diversity is evident in the college's student body. Our 2,300 students come from 30 countries and virtually every state in the U.S., and range in age from 18 to 60. We have high school graduates, professionals looking to earn a formal degree, and career changers all working side by side.

Incomparable Faculty and Facilities
With 41 kitchens and bakeshops, five student-staffed public restaurants, an extensive library, and much more, the CIA campus has ideal facilities to enhance your learning. And the college's talented, dedicated faculty--approximately 130 instructors from 16 countries--offers a broad base of industry experience and exceptional credentials.

On-campus housing and financial aid are available. For more information, call 1-800-CULINARY or visit our Web site at http://www.ciachef.edu.
