Mausi Sebess, Instituto Internacional de Artes Culinarias is Argentina's leading cooking school with national accreditation and approvals for its occupational education programs in Culinary Arts. Located in a quite suburb 15 minutes from downtown Buenos Aires, the school offers intensive hands-on one-week (40-hour) continuing education courses and flexible schedule courses of up to ten months leading to a career degree.
Career options include a 5-month (222-hour) Professional Cuisine, Bakery or Pastry degree or a 10-month (632-hour) Professional Culinary Arts degree. Having mastered fundamental and advanced culinary skills, different fields of specialization are available as part of our curriculum. Options include Spanish, Italian, Middle Eastern, Asian, Chinese, Indian,Thai, Mediterranean and Argentinean cuisines. While students work independently, a low student to teacher ratio (12:1 maximum) and a limited enrollment of up to 12 students per session ensures close personal attention. We also assist our students in finding nearby accommodation.
Our curriculum covers not only fundamental and advanced skills of cuisine and pastry techniques and preparations, but also sanitation, nutrition, restaurant management and wine tasting . Professional courses are certified by the Ministry of Education of the province of Buenos Aires and the Argentine Foreign Ministry and are internationally valid.
