  At the Culinary Academy of Austin, we season students with a hunger to learn and help them find the artist within. This celebrated school, located in Texas' most vital and vibrant city, provides hands-on, one-on-one experience alongside professional chefs in an intimate, instructional atmosphere. We make culinary dreams come true.

Our Exclusive Training Offers:
• A maximum 15:1 student/instructor ratio to facilitate more personalized learning
• More hours in the kitchen, translating to more hands-on experience
• 80% to 94% Job Placement
• Certified Executive Chef Instructors with 10 or more years industry experience.
• Four-day/week class schedules, providing students with a three-day weekend to work in the industry and gain added experience.

Professional Culinary Arts Diploma Program
The one year Professional Culinary Arts curriculum is comprised of five major blocks. From the first day, students prepare multi-course menus following the traditional brigade system. Students complete real life industry experience through the required 400 clock hour externship program.

Pastry Arts Diploma Program
The Pastry Arts Program consists of 618 clock hours (6 months) of baker/pastry training. It is designed to give students a solid foundation to the Pastry Arts and prepare them for entry to mid-level jobs as a pastry assistant. This is further achieved by the 120-hour externship required of each student.
