Keiser University's Center for Culinary Arts has three locations in Florida: Melbourne, Sarasota and Tallahassee. The university provides the education and hands-on training you need to be a success in the creative field of culinary arts. The university offers two degree programs: Associate of Science degree with a major in Culinary Arts and the Associate of Science degree with major in Baking and Pastry Arts (Tallahassee campus only). The A.S. in Culinary Arts combines practical experience in fully-equipped kitchens and solid academics in an environment that emphasizes professionalism.
The programs also focus on the chef as a leader. According to Chef Kevin Keating, CEC, CCE, Dean of Culinary Arts at Keiser University's Center for Culinary Arts, a chef with management skills is more in demand now than ever before.
This well-rounded education conducted in specially designed kitchens with the latest technology, includes classes such as baking and pastry, French cuisine, international cuisine and dining room management. This all provides the basis to become the professional chef you want to be.
